Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 5:40PM Thomas Plagwitz reminded me that I had forgotten another free tool that produces good results in screen capture: Windows Media Encoder 9 Series
I haven’t used this one for years. So, inspired by his comment I tried it and was overall quite pleased with the results. The UI is a bit hard to understand, but you can’t beat the price (free). It’s certainly worth investigation if you are looking for a low-cost alternative to Camtasia Studio
